I recently stayed at the Auberge in a small village near Conques for a short getaway. Stephanie, one of the co-owners, was incredibly hospitable and helpful during our stay. The on-site restaurant, run by the other co-owner, Christophe, served excellent cuisine with a wide variety of options. The room was comfortable and spacious, and we even got upgraded to a bathroom that was recently modernized and wonderful. The location was as described, with easy access to Conques.

Strongly recommend this hotel.

The rooms were cozy and clean, and the view from our window was on fleek. We hit up the bar across the street and had a blast. Plus, being just 15 minutes away from Conques, we had the perfect turn-up spot for our squad!

If there's one thing we could've asked for, it would be more activities for young party-goers. We wanted to turn up and have a wild time, but there wasn't much happening in the village.

Loved the "al fresco" dining on the shaded terrace, especially when the birds decided to join me for a meal. The free wifi was a lifesaver, keeping me connected to the real world while I was stuck in this remote location. The mountain bikes were a nice touch, although I didn't use them - who needs exercise when you can just eat?

Nothing to do in this God-forsaken place. Just kidding, I had a blast counting sheep and staring at the picturesque scenery.

our second stay in saint-cyprien-sur-dourdou was even better than the first, thanks to auberge aux portes de conques. the old-world charm, spacious room, friendly staff, and delicious meals truly made this a memorable stay. we highly recommend it for a cozy and enjoyable experience.

Incredible Dining Experience: The restaurant at this charming hotel offers a delightful al fresco dining experience on the shaded terrace. Imagine enjoying a mouthwatering meal surrounded by the beauty of nature, like a scene straight out of a Renaissance painting.

Poor Bathroom Lighting: The only downside to this otherwise amazing hotel was the dim lighting in the bathroom. It was so dim that I felt like I needed to enlist the help of an owl to find the keyhole to my bedroom!

The warm welcome we received from the staff made us feel right at home. The old-world style of the hotel added a unique touch to our stay, and our spacious room was perfect for our large family. The lady who greeted us was not only friendly but also had a great sense of humor, creating a delightful atmosphere. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and we enjoyed both our evening meal and breakfast. The hotel's location was also very convenient, just a short 5-minute drive to Conques, our main destination.

For dads, it would be great to have more recreational activities for the children.

The room at Auberge Aux Portes de Conques was cozy and comfortable, with a private bathroom that had a refreshing shower and complimentary toiletries. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch, perfect for winding down after a long day of exploring.

Personally, I would have preferred a bath instead of just a shower in the private bathroom.

We had a lovely stay at Auberge Aux Portes De Conques in the charming village of Saint-Cyprien-sur-Dourdou. The two-star Auberge provided excellent service from Madame and her husband, who cooked delicious meals at their inexpensive set-menu restaurant. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, and we enjoyed the fresh air from our room overlooking the small square. Stephanie, who ran the small restaurant at night, was a standout with her great sense of humor and helpful advice. The village itself was delightful to stroll around, and the proximity to Conques was a bonus.

Had a pleasant stay at a cozy inn in a scenic region. Great value for the price. Rooms were clean and comfortable with nice decor. Enjoyed the convenience of a restaurant on-site with tasty home-cooked meals. The location was ideal for exploring the beautiful nearby villages and countryside.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable, but overall it was a good stay. The town itself was quiet with limited activities or attractions, so not much to do outside of the hotel.
